FRIDAY, JANUARY 19, 2018


Isaiah 63:16, NIV, “But you are our Father, though Abraham does not know us or Israel acknowledge us; you, O Lord, are our Father, our Redeemer from of old is your name.”

Lord God, Almighty Father how great of you to shower us with the wisdom and knowledge of knowing your Name from the beginning of time and throughout the ages. We may not embody every detail of your words, it is of great honor to hear how they are beautifully written. May you enlighten as well our hearts and minds to fully understand every word and keep them to our hearts until to we come to you again. May you send your Holy Spirit and intercede within us to put your holy words into actions that is pleasing before your eyes. We thank you Oh Lord for the gift of life and the gift of your divine love. We thank you for being our source of strength and light. May you give us always a forgiving and loving heart. May your grace govern the whole of the earth. Amen.

John 1:32, 34, NIV, “Then John gave this testimony: “I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him…I have seen and I testify that this is God’s Chosen One.” Dear God, thank you for granting us the privilege to commune with your Holy Spirit. For this, we are able to live a life meant for you and you alone. For this as well, we are able to redeem ourselves through your son Jesus Christ. Guide us to a righteous way of glorifying your name. Direct our actions and govern our thoughts to only act according to your commandments and think not of evil but of good and kindness all the time. Teach us Oh Lord the ways to strengthen our bond with you so that in the end, we may be worthy of receiving your divine promises.
