Psalm 33:20–22, NIV, “We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in you.” Dear God, we are forever thankful for the unfailing grace and mercy you have shown us. Even if we repeatedly fail to follow you and seem to lose our hope among the darkness. Even if at times we forget to call you. Help us Oh God to strengthen our faith so that we may always see you and remember no else but you whether during our down or joyous times. We believe in the power of your love. We believe that it’s our greatest shield and protection against all the works of evil and earthly temptations. May your love be upon us all and therefore we will rejoice in an unending praise. Psalm 91:14-16, NIV, “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” Dear God, how great it is to live loving and knowing you. Thank you for your everlasting love towards your people. May we also see the truth of this and that we may fully put ourselves in you and love you as well unconditionally. Let us see you in every little thing that we do and what others do to us. Let us understand by heart and by mind as we ponder upon your messages and words. Give us wisdom to know the ways in glorifying your name and giving honor to your kingdom. We pray and call upon you Lord, because we believe that you will come and rescue us from our troubles. Let us not stray away from you, but instead keep us closer. Please forgive us for we have sinned and disobeyed your commandments. Please strengthen us in time when we are much vulnerable to temptations and the works of evil. Empower your spirit within each of us to enlighten our thoughts and direct our actions to be more pleasing before your eyes. Help us, your poor children who want to seek peace and love in you, to walk a path of pure goodness. That we may genuinely serve you. We gather here today in your presence to rejoice the fulfillment of your divine promises and the greatness of your works within us and all that surrounds us. 2 Peter 3:9, NEB, “It is not that the Lord is slow in fulfilling his promise, as some suppose, but that he is very patient with you, because it is not his will for any to be lost, but for all to come to repentance.” Dear God, we thank you for your mercy. Thank you for your beautiful living promise. May we be patient enough to stay in faith and live in your presence until you come again and fulfill your covenant. Thank you for your patience Oh God. Despite our shortcomings in showing gratitude and giving praise to your name, you still have shown us immeasurable grace and love. We believe in your word to prosper us and not to harm us at all. As we walk with your words as our weapon, may we never be discouraged, but instead become even stronger and bolder warriors of your love. And as we conquer the whole world proclaiming your greatness to every nation as our king and our God, we may come most worthy of claiming our rights as your children. Isaiah 49:8, NIV, “This is what the Lord says: “In the time of my favor I will answer you, and in the day of salvation I will help you; I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land and to reassign its desolate inheritances.” Dear God, you have sent Jesus Christ to save us from our sins; who suffered and died for us. We may truly see through His pain and fully turn against the devil. Thank you Lord for sending down your beloved son to cleanse us through his blood. We may come to live a life where all the things we do and the words we speak is to glorify your name. Strengthen us to always identify and follow a good path, then ignore and resist the bad path. Give us courage and strong will as well to carry our own cross as we take a rocky, difficult and dark road — let us see you. Ephesians 1:5-6, NIV, “He predestined us for adoption to son-ship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will – to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.” Dear God, thank you for granting us the gift of bearing your love as your children through Jesus Christ. May we think, act and speak rightfully just how you want us to. That we may carry with us a forgiving, loving, patient, and kind heart to become just as your children whom you’ve given the greatest gift among all your creations. Help us realize the way to fulfill the mission you’ve put on our shoulders and give us strength to fight our way towards it. Thereafter, we will come victorious and finally reach true happiness in your kingdom and presence Oh God. Let us hear your voice Lord, so that we may lead others to listen to your amazing words as well. Isaiah 32:15-17, NIV, “…till the Spirit is poured on us from on high, and the desert becomes a fertile field, and the fertile field seems like a forest. The Lord’s justice will dwell in the desert, his righteousness live in the fertile field. The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever.” Dear God, as you pour down your Holy Spirit upon us all, we may fully receive it and grow beautifully in faith and in love to you. Help us prosper in righteousness and confidence in spreading the good news and gathering disciples. Through this, we will come us one influencing peace and eliminating wars among nations; celebrating your greatness in one banquet; ending evil and laying out kindness. How beautiful it is Oh Lord to live in your presence alone. We lay everything in your hands because we believe in your divine will and plans. Revelation 12:10-11, NIV, “Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. Thank you for giving us Jesus Christ, our King and our God who will forever reign to all nations and in all the heavens. For as long as we follow the Messiah and live in the power of your words, no pain can turn as weak, no evil can turn us into chaos, no disaster can break us apart, and no earthly desires can make us turn away from you and can make us forget your greatest love and our love for each other. Romans 9:26, NIV, “In the very place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ there they will be called ‘children of the living God.’” Dear God, thank you for proclaiming us as your children. Made from your image which you breathe to life to fulfill your commandments here on earth. Anointed by your sacred blood to live righteously. Lead us Oh Lord that we may serve you well and become better Christians worthy of your atonement through your son Jesus Christ our savior. Isaiah 4:5-6, NIV, “Then the Lord will create over all of Mount Zion and over those who assemble there a cloud of smoke by day and a glow of flaming fire by night; over everything the glory will be a canopy. It will be a shelter and shade from the heat of the day, and a refuge and hiding place from the storm and rain.” Dear God, you are our home. We take shelter under your love and protection. You are our one greatest God who can turn all our sufferings into happiness just as how you can turn night into day. Whatever storm may pass, no matter how fire will burn us, we are not afraid Lord for whatever is coming because as long as you are with us and we are with you, no one and nothing can ever destroy us. Help us to remain in faith with you. Let your light shine upon us as we walk this life and throughout our long journey towards your kingdom in heaven. We humbly come to you, seeking your acceptance and protection. In our weak times, please give us strength to continue the long walk with you. May we find hope and rest in you when the burden seems to heavy for us, especially those who are suffering from illness and caught between wars and those who seem to be blinded by their earthly desires. Strengthen us in faith that we may only see you Lord — that we may only follow a flock you’ve gathered to stay with you forever and ever in heaven.
