Psalm 91:1–2, RSV, “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High, who abides in the shadow of the Almighty, will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.”

Dear God, Lord of all, our greatest dwelling place. Thank you for you keep us sheltered under the umbrella of your glory where the safest and the happiest we could ever be. Help us Oh Lord to meditate upon your holy presence always — from the moment we open our eyes every morning even as we lost ourselves in our dreams. Govern our actions that we may act with kindness, our words that we may only speak the truth, our minds that we may only think of the thoughts pleasing to you. We worship you in Spirit and in truth our Creator, Savior and Helper. Renew us each new day that we may live a life in accordance with your will and grace, Almighty Father. We pray that you protect and keep us safe always in your loving arms until the end of the earth will come. Amen.

John 1:32, 34, NIV, “Then John gave this testimony: “I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him…I have seen and I testify that this is God’s Chosen One.” Dear God, thank you for granting us the privilege to commune with your Holy Spirit. For this, we are able to live a life meant for you and you alone. For this as well, we are able to redeem ourselves through your son Jesus Christ. Guide us to a righteous way of glorifying your name. Direct our actions and govern our thoughts to only act according to your commandments and think not of evil but of good and kindness all the time. Teach us Oh Lord the ways to strengthen our bond with you so that in the end, we may be worthy of receiving your divine promises. May you bless us with your holiness and goodness, so that we may serve as lights for our brothers and sisters who lost their hopes and dreams. May your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven.
