Romans 8:14-16, NIV, “For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.”

Dear God, Almighty Father, thank you for touching our hearts of your fatherly love. May you grant us that grace so that we may be worthy as your sons and daughters. Oh, how great it is to be carried by you in your arms as we rest our burdens on your shoulders. How great it is to sit on your lap as you listen to every word our hearts say. Being recognized as your child alone is the greatest honor every creation of yours can have. It also brings immeasurable joy in our hearts. Guide us always Lord to follow the flock you’re leading. Be our shepherd always for every decision we make and every step we take, we need you to govern our minds and hearts. So that we may become wise disciples of you. We pray for all who have lost hope that they may come to you like a child seeking for love and care. May others see you in us, Lord. Use me as an instrument of your love. May your everlasting peace be with us always. Amen.

Isaiah 32:15-17, NIV, “…till the Spirit is poured on us from on high, and the desert becomes a fertile field, and the fertile field seems like a forest. The Lord’s justice will dwell in the desert, his righteousness live in the fertile field. The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever.” Dear God, as you pour down your Holy Spirit upon us all, we may fully receive it and grow beautifully in faith and in love to you. Help us prosper in righteousness and confidence in spreading the good news and gathering disciples. Through this, we will come us one influencing peace and eliminating wars among nations; celebrating your greatness in one banquet; ending evil and laying out kindness. How beautiful it is Oh Lord to live in your presence alone. We lay everything in your hands because we believe in your divine will and plans. Let us find hope and rest as we pray in silence and sing with all our hearts in glorifying your name. Grant us...

Romans 14:7-9, NIV, “For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone. If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.” Dear God, I am yours — all of me, everything I have and may have belonged only to you. Because you are our creator, our eternal God. I will not fear if everyone turns their backs and walk away from me because I believe and I know that you will stay by my side. You are my one greatest friend and my living God. I live for you Lord God and I die only for you. May I come in unity with Jesus Christ our Saviour. Bind us as one so that we may be directed to live a life here on earth in accordance with your will and celebrate eternal life in heaven later on. Our Father Almighty, remember your people. We put our trust in you. Amen. Calvary Road Ba...

How to Let the Words Taught By the Baptist Church Dwell in You

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. - Psalm 1:1-3 Living the life according to the teachings of the Bible and the Baptist Church is a continuous life transformation. This is done with the words of God implanted in you through church attendance and bible readings. But how do we develop a mindset that is biblical? With a worldview made up of attitudes and instincts that will lead you as an effective witness of God? The words that the Baptist Church has taught us should make its home in us. These words come from the Bible, a living book. Make the words that come from it - LIVE INSIDE OF YOU! Let the Words Enlighten You Having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called...
