Isaiah 49:8, NIV, “This is what the Lord says: “In the time of my favor I will answer you, and in the day of salvation I will help you; I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land and to reassign its desolate inheritances.”

Dear God, you have sent Jesus Christ to save us from our sins; who suffered and died for us. We may truly see through His pain and fully turn against the devil. Thank you Lord for sending down your beloved son to cleanse us through his blood. We may come to live a life where all the things we do and the words we speak is to glorify your name. Strengthen us to always identify and follow a good path, then ignore and resist the bad path. Give us courage and strong will as well to carry our own cross as we take a rocky, difficult and dark road — let us see you. Thereafter, we will walk with Jesus and together we will proclaim your greatness to the whole of the earth. We will all come to you renewed, born again through your salvation and stronger warriors in conquering the works of evil. For this, we ask for your protection through your Holy Spirit. Amen.

Everything here on earth is temporary — money is, fame is, jewelry is, even us humans. It is only you Lord God who is eternal — your Kingdom, your will, your love. How beautiful it is to live in accordance with your will and laws where we can find true peace and justice. Thank you Lord God for sending down your beloved son Jesus Christ to save us all. To guide and enlighten our paths as we walk this earth toward your Kingdom in heaven. To uncover the greatness of your power before our mortal eyes. You are our King and our God. Let your holy infiniteness reign in every heart of your people since your ways and thoughts are higher than ours. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.” Dear God, Almighty Father, thank you for touching our hearts of your fatherly love. May you grant us that grace so that we may be worthy as your sons and daughters. Oh, how great it is to be carried by you in your arms as we rest our burdens on your shoulders. How great it is to sit on your lap as you listen to every word our hearts say. Being recognized as your child alone is the greatest honor every creation of yours can have.
