Luke 12:32, RSV, “Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”

Dear God, our shepherd, look upon us your little flock. We humbly come to you, seeking your acceptance and protection. In our weak times, please give us strength to continue the long walk with you. May we find hope and rest in you when the burden seems to heavy for us, especially those who are suffering from illness and caught between wars and those who seem to be blinded by their earthly desires. Strengthen us in faith that we may only see you Lord — that we may only follow a flock you’ve gathered to stay with you forever and ever in heaven. Because you are our One True God, our ever loving Shepherd whom we entrust fully our lives, we will serve you with all our might. Amen.

Romans 8:14-16, NIV, “For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.” Dear God, Almighty Father, thank you for touching our hearts of your fatherly love. May you grant us that grace so that we may be worthy as your sons and daughters. Oh, how great it is to be carried by you in your arms as we rest our burdens on your shoulders. How great it is to sit on your lap as you listen to every word our hearts say. Being recognized as your child alone is the greatest honor every creation of yours can have. It also brings immeasurable joy in our hearts. Guide us always Lord to follow the flock you’re leading. Be our shepherd always for every decision we make and every step we take, we need you to govern our mind

Ways That Serving the Baptist Church Can Change You

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. -Hebrews 10:24-25 A churchgoer is not meant just to go to Manassas Baptist Church on days of obligation. Perhaps you’re still finding your way and where you feel called to serve, and that’s fine. But don’t let it take years of your life to figure out. Attending church is a blessing, and serving in any ministry is vital, no matter what you’re doing. And it’s not about feeling good or better about yourself; getting involved with church is just about desiring to serve God and His people. Serving in a Baptist Church increases one’s faith Through serving, God gave me a front row seat to seeing Him change people’s lives. That sounds a bit dramatic, but it’s true. One way to increase your faith is to read the Word of God (the Bible).  Romans 10:17 says, “Consequ

Psalm 62:5-8, NIV, “Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.” Dear God, you are our shelter. We find rest in you. Thank you for never leaving our side and always looking after us even if at times we forget to call upon you and fail to remember that you are our one true God. Thank you for your patience and mercy as you continue to shower blessings upon your people, despite the evilness we have committed over and over again. Grant us your everlasting peace and may we enlightened how to put such peace into good use to impart goodness upon all your creation here on earth. Steer us to a path where everything that we will do be done with love and passion. Protect us Oh Lord as we strive to fulfill your covenant. Thereafter, in the
