Isaiah 2:2-3a, NIV, “In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. Many peoples will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.”

Dear God, you are the greatest among all, you are the highest above all. Your will, your commandments, your words are the most treasured gifts. Because your thoughts are higher than my thoughts, please govern my mind and my heart. Because you are our one true God, please cleanse me from all the dirt of evil and fill me with your Holy Spirit so that I may trace this world righteously and proclaim to everyone your message. Thereafter, all of them will come see you and live up to your commands. Let us hear and see you as you speak to us in so many ways. Help us to see clearly the truth behind the curtains of this world. And then we will come victorious and true conquerors of what is against you. Amen.

John 1:32, 34, NIV, “Then John gave this testimony: “I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him…I have seen and I testify that this is God’s Chosen One.” Dear God, thank you for granting us the privilege to commune with your Holy Spirit. For this, we are able to live a life meant for you and you alone. For this as well, we are able to redeem ourselves through your son Jesus Christ. Guide us to a righteous way of glorifying your name. Direct our actions and govern our thoughts to only act according to your commandments and think not of evil but of good and kindness all the time. Teach us Oh Lord the ways to strengthen our bond with you so that in the end, we may be worthy of receiving your divine promises. May you bless us with your holiness and goodness, so that we may serve as lights for our brothers and sisters who lost their hopes and dreams. May your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven. Amen. Calvary Road Baptist Church – Purcellville B...

Deuteronomy 6:4–6, RSV, “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. And these words which I command you this day shall be upon your heart.” Almighty Father, Oh how great of you to have made us known of your Holy Name. Thank you for your loving and caring hands that serve as our comfort every moment we feel like the world is upon our shoulders. Thank you for you loved us first and because of that love we are also able to share your kindness to our brothers and sisters. Thank you so much Oh Lord for your unwavering guidance and unflickering lights which lead us towards a life bounded by your righteous will. Help us Oh Lord to grow more in your love. We want to love and worship you with our whole heart. Take away our doubts and hesitations, help us to solidify the very foundation of our trust in you. Isaiah 49:8, NIV, “This is what the Lord says: “In the time of my favor I will answer you, and in the day of salvation I will help you; I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land and to reassign its desolate inheritances.” Dear God, you have sent Jesus Christ to save us from our sins; who suffered and died for us. We may truly see through His pain and fully turn against the devil. Thank you Lord for sending down your beloved son to cleanse us through his blood. We may come to live a life where all the things we do and the words we speak is to glorify your name. Strengthen us to always identify and follow a good path, then ignore and resist the bad path. Give us courage and strong will as well to carry our own cross as we take a rocky, difficult and dark road — let us see you. Thereafter, we will walk with Jesus and together we will proclaim your greatness to the whole of the earth. We will all come to you renewed, born again through yo...
