How to Let the Words Taught By the Baptist Church Dwell in You

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. - Psalm 1:1-3

Living the life according to the teachings of the Bible and the Baptist Church is a continuous life transformation. This is done with the words of God implanted in you through church attendance and bible readings. But how do we develop a mindset that is biblical? With a worldview made up of attitudes and instincts that will lead you as an effective witness of God?
The words that the Baptist Church has taught us should make its home in us. These words come from the Bible, a living book. Make the words that come from it - LIVE INSIDE OF YOU!

Let the Words Enlighten You

Having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints. -Ephesians 1:18

God’s words that comes from the Bible enlightens. Inside a Baptist Church, the first thing the word of God does when preached is it bring light. Light into the inner beings of the congregation. The Bible is used as talking material between God and you. God gives his answers to his people through the Bible. The bible is read to let people understand the events that happened in the past. These events are really important for us to remember just like the story of Christ.

Let the Words Be the Nourishment In You

“I have heard the grumbling of the Israelites. Tell them, ‘At twilight you will eat meat, and in the morning you will be filled with bread. Then you will know that I am the LORD your God.’ -Exodus 16:12

For starters, take the words preached inside the Baptist Church as nourishment. God gave His Word to you to be our spiritual food. So even more than studying the Bible, we actually need to “eat” it. Nothing is more important to our Christian life than our being nourished with the Word of God. Biblical knowledge can’t help us if we’re spiritually famished, and consequently weak and dying. God’s primary concern for us is that we would be living and growing by eating the Word of God as our food.

Let the Words of the Baptist Church Be Music To You

Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the LORD: “I will sing to the LORD, for he is highly exalted. Both horse and driver he has hurled into the sea. -Exodus 16:12

You should plant the words of the Baptist Church through music. God created you and the rest of the congregation to be instruments with the ability to sing and make music. Find like-minded companions who are drawn to the power of music. Music is stored up in the hearts of every believer whether they are gifted or not. We’re spiritually wired to sing praises to God through the prompting of the Holy Spirit. In our greatest moments to the deepest days of despair—there is music within each of us.

When we read and study the word in Baptist Church, you must do it in the name of Christ. When you  go to work you must do it in the name of Christ. Every aspect of you life must be done to give thanks to God for what he has done and will do for you in your life.

Philippians 3:20-21, NIV, “But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.” Dear God, keep us close to you. Govern our minds and hearts so whatever we may do be done in the glory and in honor of our savior Jesus Christ. One who forever reigns the heaven and earth. We will wait for His coming for we believe that we will be renewed and cleansed deserving a citizenship in heaven. For this, help us Oh Lord to find enlightenment in your words and that we may be able to put them into action. Grant us a kind, forgiving, honest, patient and loving heart so that we may proclaim your goodness sincerely and truthfully to everyone. Keep us strong for every test that challenges our faith and love in you. We trust in you Oh God always in every step of the way. Amen. Calvary Road Baptist Ch

Isaiah 45:22-23, NIV, “Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other. By myself I have sworn, my mouth has uttered in all integrity a word that will not be revoked: Before me every knee will bow; by me every tongue will swear.” Dear God, how great of you. Everything here on earth is temporary — money is, fame is, jewelry is, even us humans. It is only you Lord God who is eternal — your Kingdom, your will, your love. How beautiful it is to live in accordance with your will and laws where we can find true peace and justice. Thank you Lord God for sending down your beloved son Jesus Christ to save us all. Thank you for through Him, we are able to see more of you and your greatness. Help us to become a more faithful and honest servant of you. Help us to be more worthy of your goodness. Hear out our hearts yearning for your guidance so that we may not stray away from the path you have prepared for us. Give us strength and willpower to resist t

How to Be a Disciple in Today’s Manassas Baptist Church

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”Matthew 28:18-20 Today, we have a challenging question. Are you a true disciple of Jesus Christ or just a Christian? The Bible has passages that are the blueprint to those who claim that they are. By understanding what these writings mean, you will know what the Lord expects from you. But what makes a good disciple? Jesus knew what was in men's hearts. Today, a good disciple will take the initiative to listen to those around him or her. He or she will learn their names. He or she will take a keen interest in their everyday actions. A good disciple means to be a shepherd over the Lord's flock because discipleship goes beyond belief. It's the commitment to act, to speak, and to reach out to bring those lost back to the fold. Here
