Luke 10:20, RSV, “Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you; but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”

Dear God, receive our grateful hearts which are full of your glory. We are forever thankful for always keeping us safe around your arms, protecting us from all works of evil and giving us strength to overcome the waves of trials. Yet, what we are most thankful of is being recognized as your children and your firm promise of a place for us in heaven where our names are clearly written. For this, we will rejoice and sing your praises out loud so that many of your people will come to you and know that you are God, our one true God. For where you write our names is where we are as well and everywhere you are, we are there as well. We will never fear Oh God, we will never stumble as long as we walk with you. Keep the fire of your love within us, Lord, that we may only serve and worship you in faith until the end of our time. Amen.

Romans 8:14-16, NIV, “For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.” Dear God, Almighty Father, thank you for touching our hearts of your fatherly love. May you grant us that grace so that we may be worthy as your sons and daughters. Oh, how great it is to be carried by you in your arms as we rest our burdens on your shoulders. How great it is to sit on your lap as you listen to every word our hearts say. Being recognized as your child alone is the greatest honor every creation of yours can have. It also brings immeasurable joy in our hearts. Guide us always Lord to follow the flock you’re leading. Be our shepherd always for every decision we make and every step we take, we need you to govern our mind

Ways That Serving the Baptist Church Can Change You

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. -Hebrews 10:24-25 A churchgoer is not meant just to go to Manassas Baptist Church on days of obligation. Perhaps you’re still finding your way and where you feel called to serve, and that’s fine. But don’t let it take years of your life to figure out. Attending church is a blessing, and serving in any ministry is vital, no matter what you’re doing. And it’s not about feeling good or better about yourself; getting involved with church is just about desiring to serve God and His people. Serving in a Baptist Church increases one’s faith Through serving, God gave me a front row seat to seeing Him change people’s lives. That sounds a bit dramatic, but it’s true. One way to increase your faith is to read the Word of God (the Bible).  Romans 10:17 says, “Consequ

Psalm 62:5-8, NIV, “Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.” Dear God, you are our shelter. We find rest in you. Thank you for never leaving our side and always looking after us even if at times we forget to call upon you and fail to remember that you are our one true God. Thank you for your patience and mercy as you continue to shower blessings upon your people, despite the evilness we have committed over and over again. Grant us your everlasting peace and may we enlightened how to put such peace into good use to impart goodness upon all your creation here on earth.
