Proverbs 3:11-12, NIV, “My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline and do not resent his rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.”

Dear God, thank you for enlightening us of the what and whys of the world. Thank you for giving us an understanding and patient heart that we can see your divine will within every suffering. We wholeheartedly accept your disciplinary actions may be in the form of failures, heartaches, betrayal, downfall and anything that may hurt and embarrass us. Because we truly believe it is your way of molding and preparing us as we enter your kingdom later on. That every pain and tear is worthy because it becomes our investment towards a glorious eternal life with you, Oh God. With this, we ask for your loving hands and guiding words to find your light despite the darkness and lead us back to you if we fail to follow your path. Lord God in all your glory may you grant us the gift of divine life, that we may only do good and proclaim your Holy Name to all nations. Amen.

Isaiah 49:8, NIV, “This is what the Lord says: “In the time of my favor I will answer you, and in the day of salvation I will help you; I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land and to reassign its desolate inheritances.” Dear God, you have sent Jesus Christ to save us from our sins; who suffered and died for us. We may truly see through His pain and fully turn against the devil. Thank you Lord for sending down your beloved son to cleanse us through his blood. We may come to live a life where all the things we do and the words we speak is to glorify your name. Strengthen us to always identify and follow a good path, then ignore and resist the bad path. Give us courage and strong will as well to carry our own cross as we take a rocky, difficult and dark road — let us see you. Thereafter, we will walk with Jesus and together we will proclaim your greatness to the whole of the earth. We will all come to you renewed, born again through yo...

How to Let the Words Taught By the Baptist Church Dwell in You

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. - Psalm 1:1-3 Living the life according to the teachings of the Bible and the Baptist Church is a continuous life transformation. This is done with the words of God implanted in you through church attendance and bible readings. But how do we develop a mindset that is biblical? With a worldview made up of attitudes and instincts that will lead you as an effective witness of God? The words that the Baptist Church has taught us should make its home in us. These words come from the Bible, a living book. Make the words that come from it - LIVE INSIDE OF YOU! Let the Words Enlighten You Having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called...
