Romans 9:26, NIV, “In the very place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ there they will be called ‘children of the living God.’”

Dear God, thank you for proclaiming us as your children. Made from your image which you breathe to life to fulfill your commandments here on earth. Anointed by your sacred blood to live righteously. Lead us Oh Lord that we may serve you well and become better Christians worthy of your atonement through your son Jesus Christ our savior. That even in the trying times and until the end, we will remain as your disciples and love you forever. Held us in contemplation as we pour our hearts and pray to you. That we can be able to forget all the things that are not of God. Grant us that grace to strengthen and guide us in resolving our internal and external struggles and end up victorious. Almighty Father, hear the plea of your weak and poor children. Thereafter, we will rise up and worship you in an unending praise here on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

Romans 8:14-16, NIV, “For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.” Dear God, Almighty Father, thank you for touching our hearts of your fatherly love. May you grant us that grace so that we may be worthy as your sons and daughters. Oh, how great it is to be carried by you in your arms as we rest our burdens on your shoulders. How great it is to sit on your lap as you listen to every word our hearts say. Being recognized as your child alone is the greatest honor every creation of yours can have. It also brings immeasurable joy in our hearts. Guide us always Lord to follow the flock you’re leading. Be our shepherd always for every decision we make and every step we take, we need you to govern our mind

Ways That Serving the Baptist Church Can Change You

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. -Hebrews 10:24-25 A churchgoer is not meant just to go to Manassas Baptist Church on days of obligation. Perhaps you’re still finding your way and where you feel called to serve, and that’s fine. But don’t let it take years of your life to figure out. Attending church is a blessing, and serving in any ministry is vital, no matter what you’re doing. And it’s not about feeling good or better about yourself; getting involved with church is just about desiring to serve God and His people. Serving in a Baptist Church increases one’s faith Through serving, God gave me a front row seat to seeing Him change people’s lives. That sounds a bit dramatic, but it’s true. One way to increase your faith is to read the Word of God (the Bible).  Romans 10:17 says, “Consequ

Isaiah 2:2-3a, NIV, “In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. Many peoples will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.” Dear God, you are the greatest among all, you are the highest above all. Your will, your commandments, your words are the most treasured gifts. Because your thoughts are higher than my thoughts, please govern my mind and my heart. Because you are our one true God, please cleanse me from all the dirt of evil and fill me with your Holy Spirit so that I may trace this world righteously and proclaim to everyone your message. Thereafter, all of them will come see you and live up to your commands. Let us hear and see you as you speak to us in so many ways. Help us to see clearly the truth behind the curtains of this
