Psalm 96:7–9, NIV, “Ascribe to the Lord, all you families of nations, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering and come into his courts. Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness; tremble before him, all the earth.”
Dear God, you are our greatest protector and comforter. We lift up everything in your hands as we speak of your Name with all our heart and our mind and our soul. You are our only refuge, may you look down upon us your servants. We humbly come to you and ask for your power to govern our minds and hearts so that we may become worthy of your acceptance and love. May your Holy Name made known to all nations, that they may also find rest and true happiness. We wholeheartedly offer you our lives because it is you who first breath us to life. You are our creator and our God, who made heaven and earth; we will forever give praise to Your Name here on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
