Corinthians 1:20-22, NIV, “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.”

Dear God, we thank you with our grateful hearts for sending down your son Jesus Christ. Through him we will realize your promises as we continue to grow and prosper in faith. Thank you for sending your Spirit upon each one of us which serves as our direct ticket to connect with Jesus Christ our Lord. We gather here today in your presence to rejoice the fulfillment of your divine promises and the greatness of your works within us and all that surrounds us. Because with Jesus Christ as our one true God and who reigns amongst all the earth, nothing can knock us down and trample upon us. We surrender everything in your hands because I am all yours Lord. Let us serve you and fulfill as well our role in your covenant. Hear our prayers. And may your name be all known through your great words. Amen.

Isaiah 45:22-23, NIV, “Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other. By myself I have sworn, my mouth has uttered in all integrity a word that will not be revoked: Before me every knee will bow; by me every tongue will swear.” Dear God, how great of you. Everything here on earth is temporary — money is, fame is, jewelry is, even us humans. It is only you Lord God who is eternal — your Kingdom, your will, your love. How beautiful it is to live in accordance with your will and laws where we can find true peace and justice. Thank you Lord God for sending down your beloved son Jesus Christ to save us all. Thank you for through Him, we are able to see more of you and your greatness. Help us to become a more faithful and honest servant of you. Help us to be more worthy of your goodness. Hear out our hearts yearning for your guidance so that we may not stray away from the path you have prepared for us. Give us strength and willpower to resist t

Romans 8:26, NIV, “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.” Dear God, let your Holy Spirit descend upon us all and over the whole world. To guide and enlighten our paths as we walk this earth toward your Kingdom in heaven. To uncover the greatness of your power before our mortal eyes. You are our King and our God. Let your holy infiniteness reign in every heart of your people since your ways and thoughts are higher than ours. Our King and our God, send your Holy Spirit so that we may see our own weakness and help us put them into prayers. We lift our hands and yearning hearts to you, Father, we ask for your blessing through your Holy Spirit and your son Jesus Christ. Amen. Ways That Serving the Baptist Church Can Change You

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. -Hebrews 10:24-25 A churchgoer is not meant just to go to Manassas Baptist Church on days of obligation. Perhaps you’re still finding your way and where you feel called to serve, and that’s fine. But don’t let it take years of your life to figure out. Attending church is a blessing, and serving in any ministry is vital, no matter what you’re doing. And it’s not about feeling good or better about yourself; getting involved with church is just about desiring to serve God and His people. Serving in a Baptist Church increases one’s faith Through serving, God gave me a front row seat to seeing Him change people’s lives. That sounds a bit dramatic, but it’s true. One way to increase your faith is to read the Word of God (the Bible).  Romans 10:17 says, “Consequ
