MONDAY, APRIL 2, 2018

1 Peter 4:12-13, NIV, “Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.”

Dear God, keep us strong and courageous to face whatever life may throw at us. Help us find your light and remain firm during our darkest times. Help us seek peace within our hearts so that we may become worthy disciples and messengers of your good news. Let us take part in the sufferings of our Lord Jesus Christ, so that we may truly see and realize your will and that we could prepare for His coming. And in every pain, grant that we may love you more and more. In every tear, we may be full of desire to serve you forever and always. That after enduring those heavy loads, we may feel great satisfaction instead. Thank you for showing us your mercy. We ask that you guide us towards your ways. Amen.
