Ephesians 5:20, NEB, “And in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ give thanks every day for everything to our God and Father.”

Dear God, we lift up our grateful hearts to you for everything you have given and done for us. In the name of your son, our Lord Jesus Christ, may you accept our thanks. Enlighten us, Almighty Father of your great works. Let us see your greatness and goodness in every little thing every day of our lives. Let us see you as you reveal yourself. Help us come into full understanding of your words so that we may be fully become one with the Holy Spirit. And that we may able to follow you righteously. Grant us your everlasting peace as you are the ruler of heaven and earth. Bless us with a loving, forgiving, patient and kind heart always. May your will be done upon us and on this earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

Everything here on earth is temporary — money is, fame is, jewelry is, even us humans. It is only you Lord God who is eternal — your Kingdom, your will, your love. How beautiful it is to live in accordance with your will and laws where we can find true peace and justice. Thank you Lord God for sending down your beloved son Jesus Christ to save us all. May you grant us that grace so that we may be worthy as your sons and daughters. Oh, how great it is to be carried by you in your arms as we rest our burdens on your shoulders.
