THURSDAY, APRIL 5, 2018

Psalm 62:5-8, NIV, “Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.”

Dear God, you are our shelter. We find rest in you. Thank you for never leaving our side and always looking after us even if at times we forget to call upon you and fail to remember that you are our one true God. Thank you for your patience and mercy as you continue to shower blessings upon your people, despite the evilness we have committed over and over again. Grant us your everlasting peace and may we enlightened how to put such peace into good use to impart goodness upon all your creation here on earth. Steer us to a path where everything that we will do be done with love and passion. Protect us Oh Lord as we strive to fulfill your covenant. Thereafter, in the end, we will rejoice in your glory and holy presence. Amen.

For this, we are able to live a life meant for you and you alone. For this as well, we are able to redeem ourselves through your son Jesus Christ. Guide us to a righteous way of glorifying your name. Direct our actions and govern our thoughts to only act according to your commandments and think not of evil but of good and kindness all the time.
